2010 RFL Clothing Fair
The 2010 RFL Clothing Fair will open its doors later today and AVENUE is proud to be one of its sponsors as this fair is now a well established appointment for the Second Life inhabitants. The Clothing Fair has grown incredibly over the past 4 years, and now it is proud to count 150 designers, 9 sims and most importantly so far has raised 11 million Linden Dollars for Relay For Life.
This year the organizers have really outdone themselves creating 9 spectacular sims that are just waiting to be discovered. Each sim is a replica of a fashion city in the world, so we have Tokyo, London, Melbourne, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, New Delhi and New York. The 9th sim is placed at the center, it contains sculptures from the most talented SL artists and will host events, parties, concerts and fashion shows throughout the duration of this event.
The events will run 24/7 and will raise awareness on Relay For Life activities and will help the visitors getting to know what there is to discover throughout the 9 sims.
The charm of the RFL Clothing Fair is to see such diversity all together in the same place, big names of the SL fashion industry are next door to lesser known but equally worthy designers, here haute couture goes hand in hand with fantasy and period clothes. This is what makes RFL Clothing fair so unique, there is something for everyone and it's all for a good cause.
We really hope you saved some lindens because there will be plenty of shopping occasions and your heads will spin with all this beauty and creativity.
